I 'm feeling very happy now ! / Takako Takasuka(Tachn☆彡) [ Home ]
Good evening. May I write a letter for you here ..... saying, I've already started to write, however. Excuse me. I've been staying in my son's home in Osaka for a while. I was surprised to know your linking my homepage in the Japanese version. I am very heppy that I could be linked with such a wonderful site of yours.

I have little knowledge of poetry, but I will steadily read each work in it. Today I enjoyed your White Coral read by Yoko Kurokawa in Japanese with impression, and I was tempted to write something for myself.

I will study more.

Re: Poems! / Webmaster, Poetry Plaza
Thank you very much for your visiting our site and dropping a line to our BBS.
I visited your website today. What a wonderful site it is! You have so many kinds of programs, and therefore, I will be paying visits to yours from time to time and study more. You have a very nice Community Forum system which I am not quite familiar with, so I will join this forum in due course.

Thank you very much / KUROYANAGI [ Home ] [ Mail ]
Hello, Thank you for your message to my homepage the other day. I enjoyed very much reading and listening to your site today. I just admire it. I do love poetry but your perspective is very high indeed. It was a scene in a movie, I remember, that a father read Yeats after the children went to bed on Christmas day. What a graceful thing reading poetry is! I realized first that Recital meant reading poetry. I wish I could attend the live, just having an awe and respect in my mind

Enjoyed the visit!

SOLID

Take this through the maze -- no clarification -- no making it simple. No other way around this thing standing in our way. It's been here all the while but we push it to the side, or step over it, under it or around it --as the days drift on and on into a no where else to be place.

What is the wanting? The only viable thing inside is the absolute need for freedom, for the absolute need for safety -- for a place to be. But there is no place to be. The badge has not been won, or earned, nor is there any foreseeable way to gain it.

Forever in this place, starving, needing, wanting the unconditional situation. Somehow just being spit out into this thing makes it a responsibility, makes it a no win situation when there's never been anything to win from the start.

Whitecaps Prance / Samuel E. Stone, USA [ Home ] [ Mail ]
Whitecaps Prance

Whitecaps prancing, upon the shore,
sky streaked with a pink reddish hue,
angelic without the essence of time,
foliage covered in a wet morning dew.

Seagulls gliding effortlessly in the sky,
sea lions on the rocks along the shore,
tranquillity in the air ever bold yet shy,
there to enjoy, it knocks upon your door.

Waves crashing, dancing upon the rocks,
wind blowing in the air with a salty mist,
fishing boats tied tightly to the old docks,
moistness upon your lips resembles a kiss.

In the inlet a sleepy village sits upon a hill,
smoke drifting up from stone chimney tiers,
a calm quietness lurks about, forever so still,
while the ocean roars rumble far and near.

The sea has a majestic beauty all it’s own,
nature’s own canvas set to color and tone,
to see it’s beauty, one only has to be shown,
in the sand, by the sea, you are never alone.

Re: Very Nice Site But / Webmaster, Poetry Plaza
Thank you very much for your kind comment. I regret that we do not have any particular pages to show the works by the poets who kindly pay a visit to this site. The place for the visiting poets who want to publish their poems with us will be right here so that the visitors can share the joy of poetry altogether.

Congratulations! / Taisuke Itoh (itotai), Japan [ Home ] [ Mail ]
Good ervening, Mr. Yokokawa. I feel rather strange that I, who has no other interests than the one in Hymalayan trekking, am permitted to enter the very prestigious website like this.

However, I assume that this perhaps comes from the fact that Nagano where you were born is really my second home in my mind, for which I am grateful. God hasn't given me the sense of poetry, but I have been trying to understand the abstruse poems whenever I visit this website. Nevertheless, for the establishment of this BBS, and at this moment here in the half way of this writing, regretfully I'm getting to feel that I must refrain from immoderate impudency to put my writing like this at the very top.

The poem which you kindly extended to me is still shinning in my homepage and is really one of my scarce prides. Here in Kobe, Japan, I offer a prey for the expansion of Poetry Plaza more and more. I would appreciate your further leadership for me. Thank you very much.
