次に、休憩時間なしで60分のライティングセクションが始まります。

(1)写真描写問題
ここでは、TOEIC PART1に出てくるような写真をみて1文を作成します。問題は、5枚の写真を8分間でそれぞれの写真に対して一文を作ります。但し、各問題に対し、指定された2語を必ず1文の中に使わなければなりません。ここでは発信的な文法力が試めされます。

1. The woman is pointing at a map. (point,map)
2. There are a lot of flowers in the park (flower,park)
3. Some people are sitting together on the long bench, waiting for something patiently (together, patiently)
4. The man is using a ladder, because he wants to fix the wall.
5. The man is sitting near the osean while reading a book. (read, while)

どうでしょうか。このセクションは満点が取れたと思っています。

（2）E-mail作成問題（2問）
ここでは、受け取ったe-mailに対して返事を書くという問題です。但し、ここでも設問の指示に従って書かなければいけないことが条件です。想像力も必要となります。

最初の問題は最近、冷蔵庫を買ったという設定で、メーカーからの顧客満足度の調査に答えるというものでした。設問では、2点（満足でも、不満足でも）を指摘して、1つリクエストをするというのが条件でした。内容は受験者の想像力に任せます。

Thank you for the e-mail.I'm really satisfied with the product I bought from one of your shops the other day. In fact, I'd like to tell you two things which satisfied me the most. First of all, the refrigerator doesn't make almost any sound. I can't even realize that it is right next to my bedroom. Next, the freezer is amazing!! it turns water into ice within 30 minutes!! I'm really happy to have bought your product.

By the way, I'd like to ask you one question. You mention I might win the prizes if my name is listed in the ??. What kinds of prizes are they? I'm really curious about it

二問目は上司から受け取ったe-mailに返事を書く設定です。この上司と受験者は二人ともスポーツジムに働いているという設定で、上司が地元の会社で働いている人たちにもっとジム来てもらうにはどうすればいいかと提案を投げかけてきます。設問の条件は3つの提案をしろというものでした。

Thank you for the e-mail. Concerning your request, I have come up with three suggestions which might interest you. First of all, why don't we open the facility until 9 o'clock? As you know, most of the besiness people nearby finish their work at 6 or later, so if the opening hours are longer, more poeple will come to our gym. Also, I think it is a good idea to open it one hour ealier, so that more besinese people can use the facility before work. Last, why don't we offer free breakfast or dinner if they come in the early morning or at night?

どうでしょうかね。1問につき10分しか書く時間がないので多くは書けなかったのですが、設問の条件は満たしていると思うし、返答としてはまあまあできたと思うので、ここでも高得点を取りたいです。

（3）意見を記述する問題
最後のセクションは、TOEFLでもおなじみの30分のクリエイティブライティングです。提示されたテーマについて自分の考えを書いていく問題です。今回のテーマは

「子供の指導するような職業についている人間に一番必要な資質は何か？」

でした。私はこの最後のセクションで失敗してしまいました。いろいろと考えているうちに、時間がどんどん過ぎてしまい、結局中途半端なエッセーになってしまいました。「300語以上を書くのが理想」となっていましたが、250語程度で時間切れになってしまいました。このセクションでは50％ぐらいしか取れていないと思います。

以上が、今回受けたTOEICスピーキング、ライティングテストの感想です。テストの内容はTOEIC iBTに比べてると全体的に平易な印象を受けました。でも、やっぱり受験料が少し高いですね。これが5000円ぐらいなら、頻繁に受けたいと思いますが、1万円もすると毎回のようには受けらないですよね。結果は約1ヶ月後にわかるようです。あまりにもひどくなければ結果も公開しますね。
