Hi,everyone. Since the beginning of this year, I've been working hard to pick up an American accent. It is really hard for me, because I have a strong Japanese accent, which I've found is really hard to get rid of. Luckily, I often have my accent checked by my American friend, but he says I don't quite sound American yet. I also had a chance to have it checked by another foreign friend of mine, and he said my vowels don't sound native-like. What do you think? I was a little dispointed to hear, but that made me think I have to work harder on it. I'll keep the accent training, and I hope I'll sound a little American by the end of this year.
