Re: Another recording (squirrel) (No.1801 への返信) - Takeshi Candyman-san. I made another recording where, this time, I practiced a long vowel, /o:/ as in "abroad." That's what I wanted to do there, but after the recording, I found my hooked-schwa still has a serious problem. Again, I sound more like "reTARnees" instead of "returnees." In that way, I believe most people in the world would have trouble understanding what I'm saying.
