Leigh's Goodbye Party (and mine?) (親記事) - Dansen *** STUDENTS WHO KNOW THE NOVA TEACHER LEIGH (Australian man) NOVA has basically fired him, they have refused to give him a new contract, so he has had to find new work. He is having a goodbye party this Saturday (the 2nd) and if you knew him it would be great if you came and said goodbye. We don't have a lot of money, but we want to get together and have some drinks. He says people are meeting at about 7:30, in front of the MARUI building (ＯIＯI) on the first floor. (Look for the foreigners! haha) NOVA has also laid me off, and so I might not have a job soon. So I might also have to find new work. In that case this might also be a goodbye for me, Dansen. Who knows. Just thought I would encourage some of you to come and say goodbye to Leigh. Actually, I knew you are going to have one, and I thought I wouldn't be able to make it, because I had a student to tutor this Saturday, but I asked him to change the day into the next day, and he said O.K. So I'm definitely coming. I think you already know but, my co-worker, Guy is also coming, and so is Junpei. It is very sad you and Leigh have been laid off, but it might be good for both of you to leave that G something, and find a new job. Anyway, thank you for the invitation. Actually, I drank too much again, and I had a terrible hangover today staying in bed almost all day along today. I'll try to be more careful next time (maybe impossible for me, hahaha) Anyway, I enjoyed the party a lot. Thanks. I hope you will get a new job soon.
