こんにちは、
昨日の午前中にTOEFL iBTを受験してきました。またいつもと同じように全然勉強しないで受けたので、結果はボロボロだと思いますが、エッセーだけはいつもと同じぐらい書けたと思います。今回のトピックが興味深かったので、今回私が実際に書いた英文と一緒に紹介させていただきます。

""Should teachers be paid as much as doctors, laywers, or business leaders?""
Being a teacher myself, I definitely agree with the idea that teachers should be rewarded as well as doctors, laywers, or other business leaders. There are three main reasons why I support the idea.
First of all, teachers play a very important role in creating new talents. Today, almost everyone goes to school when they are young. When they are still students,however, they don't know yet what they really want to be in the future, or what talent they possibly have. It is teahcers who find thier talents and lead them to a right way. Without teachers, talented professionals, such as doctors, laywers, or business leaders wouldn't come out into society.
Second, teachers work longer hours than other professions. Besides working from Monday and Friday, they often have to work on weekends, helping their students with club activities or taking them somewhere in school trips. Also, they sometimes have to work overtime to prepare for term tests or write school reports.
Third, teachers teach not only academic subjects but also morals and social values. In today's world, there are many conflicts and a lot of people are suffering all over the world. However, some people could be indifferent to the fact if they were not well-informed of it. In a smaller scale as well, some fail to follow rules or good manners without knowing it. Then, teachers can educate them and lead them for the better. In other words, teachers contribute a lot to socitey by teaching morals and social values.
In conclusion, although professions such as doctors, laywers, or business play a great part in society, which deserves high salaries, teachers should also be rewarded as well as them. They creat new talents, work long hours, and above all, they lead people to a right way.
こんな具合に書いてみました。どうでしょうかね。かなり稚拙な作文に思われるかもしれませんが、トピックを与えられてから、構成を考えて書き上げるまで30分しかないので、このくらい書ければTOEFLの試験では十分だと思います。（実際、前回の試験ではこの程度の英文でほぼ満点が取れましたし）
次回は5月に受験予定です。今後こそはTOEFL iBTで100点を達成したいです。
