Good evening!
I have one poor question about awesome.
I think awesome means wonderful, excellent etc.
But I can't remember to hear it from native speaker.
Is awesome an usual word in everyday conversation?
Please tell me your opinion.

Tonight, I applied EIKEN again.

hi, Michinori-san.

Hehe, there isn't any poor question or anything. Just ask me whenever you have any question. Well,, the answer for the question is yes. I think it is often used among native speakers in daily conversation. As you said, they use the word when they are impressed by something. These days, young people use it fairly often, and it doesn't have a strong meaning any more. It can mean just "good" or things like that.
I just now remember that on My blog, I once placed a video clip from Youtube, where "Natalie" uses the word. I put down the link below. She is being sarcastic there, saying the word.

Takeshi-san

Thank you the advice.
I saw your video prog. She had said sometimes "awesome".
The gesture did not look like happy. But recently young pepole use "awesome" don't they.

Anyway, I want to be careful native speaker's conversation.

Thanks.
