I recovered from the flu. (親記事) - Candyman

Hi Takeshi-san and everybady!
How's going?
I caught the flu and was in bed all week! It was really bad! When I caught the flu, I was worried about my family but they didn’t catch the flu. I was relieved. And then I recovered from the flu. There is a lot of the swine flu going around. Everybody should be carful a flu.

@ He was allowed to keep his job on condition that he ( ) under close supervision.
(A) work (B) works (C) is working (D) was working
The answer is (A) Bかと思ったのですが・・He work なんてあり?(candyman )

A The ( ) company went bankrupt because of problems with cash flow.
(A) 15-year old (B) 15year-old (C) 15-year-old (D) 15 years old
The answer is (C) (candyman)

B Could you tell me where is the central post office from here?
A B C D
The answer is C
Where is the central post office? しかし、その前にCould you tell me がついて間接疑問文になるとwhere the central post office isと倒置を直して、平叙文の語順にしなければならない。

I was sick, too (No.1787への返信 / 2階層) - Takeshi

Candyman-san, Michinori-san, and everybody.

I was also sick in bed for a few days this week. I'm not sure whether it was because of the new strain of the influenza, but it might have been, because last Saturday when I tutored a student, teaching face to face, he was coughing badly at me. I couldn't care less then, as he always shows some kind of alergic reaction as such a runny nose or sneezing. But, the 2 days later, I felt really sick and cold, and it was then that I got a phone call from him, saying that he got the flu and had to cancel the next lesson because he had to stay at home for a week. Not wanting him to have a guilty conscience, I didn't mention my condition, but anyway, what happened cannot be undone, so I just stayed in bed, hoping to get better. I'm much better now except for my funny voice and coughing sometimes. Thinkinig on the bright side, it wouldn't be too bad if I had got the flu. Once you got one and got over it, you would be ok this winter when it's likely to be raging furiously over the world, and seems worse if you got one then. Since I've almost recovered, I hope it WAS the flu..hehe..it would've been sort of a blessing in disguise after all, wouldn't it?

Anyway, I hope everyone takes great care of yourself so that you won't contract the influenza.
