TOEIC the result May 30th 2010 (親記事) - Takeshi

Hi there. I'm writing here today, because I got the result of TOEIC I took last month. It was a kind of while since I took it last, so I wondered how worse I could have been ( as I hadn't studied just as usual, I was sure that I wouldn't have been any better.)

The result this time is..

Listening 495/495
Reading 490/495

Total 985

That's how it went this time. Hmm... it wasn't too bad after all. In fact, I got the best score in the reading section, and also the best score in total. BUT... I STILL have big trouble working on the test anytime I take it, and I always feel my scores are just flukes. Especially, my reading... I'm so slow a reader that I can't read the materials very carefully and I always have to take a possible guess on each question. So I always feel that my reading score may end up with miserable one. I wish I could read a litte faster, so that I can be more confident of the section. Anyway... I need to study much more seriously if I want to get a good score of TOEIC. So far, I'm planning to take TOEIC every time this year, and I hope I can be better through the year.

hi, Takeshi san, and everyone, whats up?
you are really amazing that you got neally full mark.
anyway, i took TOIEC as well, thats why i am writting here.
i got the result of TOEIC today, and my score is 705 this time, listening section is for 390, reading section is for 315. i am kind of ok about my score, of course that is not good score, but this was my kinda my first time to take TOIEC, i mean i took it for the first time in 5 years, i didnt study english at all at the time.
actually, there are 3 resolutions for this year.
the first one is to get over 700 score of TOIEC by the end of this year.
the second one is to pass pre 1st grade of STEP by the end of this year as well.
the last one is that i give my parents something special, because i am already mature, but i have not done enything special for them.
so in a way, i achieved one of them.
anyway, i think taking english test is really good for me to be motivated my english and evaluate my current english skill.
so i am going to take TOIEC this september, and i am sure that i will study for TOIEC this time.
l didnt study for TOEIC last one, because ive focused on STEP more than TOIEC, i just wanted to evaluate my english last one.
actually, the test was really hard for me to answers all questions, i didnt answers about last 20 questions due to no time.

Hello there, Gadegu-san. Thanks for the message. I didn't know you took the test as well, but I think you did really well in it. In fact, the score you got is about the one Todai students can get on avarage. Needless to say your speaking skills are so much better than theirs. All in all, it was not bad at all. Nevertherless, you could be even better given your current English level. I'm sure you can get more than 450 in the listening section once you get more used to it. Go for it. And I also hope you have passed the pre-1st this time (if you took it). Remember I'm happy to help you with the interveiw test. And the same to Michinori-san. Say hi to him for me ,will you? I'm looking forward to seeing you guys sometime soon.

Wow, well done! That’s really good news. You did the best score. You can do it! Full mark is just around the corner. I don’t improve my TOEIC so I’m down my feeling but I’m going to take TOIEC on September. I should study hard.

Gadegu-san your level is more than me! It’s excellent!
I’m really into World Cap football so I believe that Japan will win the next game! I want to watch next 29th for best 8, but it is important to 24th no 25th morning game. 3:30am
I’d like to watch the game at IKEBUKURO HUB with my friends (everybody comes on).
