Monster English man! (親記事) - Candyman

Hi Takeshi-san!

I had a great time! Thanks for coming! New Year’s party! What do you feel about members? They are very friendly members right? Everybody studies English at NOVA. Please join us next party! It is good news you will be thinking of TVC again on February or March. But you are getting busy again recently I know, so actually I’m also getting busy due to sales campaign this month. I would be better on March so if you have some free time next month, please let me know that!

I bought a book which is written by Monster English man. It is called HIKIKOMORI English strategy book. According to the book, to learn vocabularies memory and forget and memory and forget repeats many times is most significant to learn English. There is no easy to learn English. Some of the text books say “you can learn English very easy and quick” is no way, impossible things. These books are stupid. I completely agree with him. To learn vocabulary is very good for taking TOEIC so more than 10times vocabularies memory and forget and memory. This is one of his strategies. The book is very interesting totally. especially, his funny strange English strategies for example, how to practice pronunciation, he invented a pronunciation machine on hand made using plastic cup (ramen). It is really funny. He was subsequently picked up by the media (ASAHI paper).

According to a news paper, pharmaceutical company Takeda announced that coming in 2013 April it will take place, candidates must get TOEIC 730 in order to take company entrance exam which means it is one of the requirements for entering the company. It’s very important to study TOEIC especially, job hunting students. Actually, our company is subsidiary company. Holding company is one of the pharmaceutical companies and its group business companies, half of employees are not Japanese. I think it is necessary to study English near future even our company.

I believe that I mistake a lot of grammars and expressions. I am deeply sorry!

hi there. It's been a while. How are you getting along these days? As for me, the winter seminars are all over and I was having a break for a while until yesterday, but a new schedule has already begun and I came back home after teaching two private lessons just now today.

About the study group, I will be tied up on all saturdays, this month, and next month as well, but I will have some free time on Sundays. From April, I will have to teach Saturday and Sunday morning class, but I might have some time in the afternoon then. If Sunday is convenient for you, I'm happy to have a study group with you.

And the English monster!! I haven't read his book yet, but I guess you found he is quite unique as an English learner. I wonder if his way of learning could be useful to general English learners (, since nobody can and wants to lock themselves up at home studying 16 hours a day for 7 years ), but I think it would be fun to read anyway.
