No161. TOEIC Official Test cancelled. (親記事) - Takeshi Hello, everyone. Let me tell you that the TOEIC test, scheduled on March 13th, has been cancelled due to the earthquake. I just got the news when I opened my mail just a while ago, and I have no further info about it. I thought it might happen, but it actually did. Just now I felt another aftershock. It seems endless. Yesterday noon, I checked my E-mail but there was no announcement from TOEIC office so I thought it has nothing to do with the test especially west of Japan and Kanto area but I checked it again last night I noticed that according to announcement, all of exam stations called off TOEIC test. I’ll take TOEIC test next time soon. Anyway, one of my colleagues who live in SENDAI city could come back his home in SAITAMA last night fortunately. It took about 14hours by car. When the earthquake occurred, he drove his car on the route 4 MIYAGI and FUKUSHIMA border line. The car jumped in the air … maybe it's exaggerating. Every body takes care about after quake and suspect chain mail. Wish for many people to be rescued safely. [No.1927] 2011/03/13(Sun) 09:09:38

With an increasing number of casualities hour by hour, it seems that the aftermath of the earthquake is much worse than most people might have thought. Even here in Tokyo now, I feel quakes occasionally , that makes me so scared. I wonder if it could trigger another earthquake near the Kanto area. I'm also worried about the nuclear power plant. I hope everything is getting better. The notice from the organization.
